COVID-19

Our retail store is open and and Mudroom studio is open. In accordance with the state’s Stay Safe Ohio directive and our own company’s safety policies, we have implemented the following for your safety as well as that of our employees.

Business hours are: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-2pm

In the interests of safety for our employees as well as our customers and to help stop the spread of COVID-19, we will be implementing the following procedures:

  • Employees and visitors are required to wear a mask or facial coverings at all times. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.
  • We ask that visitors practice social distancing and maintain 6 feet of distance between each other.
  • We will have markers for those shopping and checking out.
  • We will be limiting onsite guests to 50% of allowable people according to the fire code.
  • Sanitization station will be at the door. We ask that all guests sanitize upon entry.
  • Shoppers will be asked to sign in at the door for contact tracing.
  • Staff will ask all visitors to verify they are not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
  • We will be disinfecting and cleaning the stores including commonly touched surfaces throughout the day.
  • If you or anyone in your family is ill, please do not visit our stores. We can continue to provide curbside, no contact pickup and we will gladly ship orders via US Mail or Fed Ex.

Mudroom: In order to support the social distancing and maintain our cleaning schedule, we will be limiting the studio to 6 guests at a time. We are asking that those interested in using the studio contact us for reservations which will be in blocks of time with breaks between to allow for cleaning. There will be a $10 daily fee and firing is paid separately.

Delivery: OCS will resume our normal delivery programs with the following restrictions:

No inside deliveries to residential customers. If you request a residential delivery please include the location you wish the driver to leave the merchandise (example: in front of the garage, on the front porch, etc.). Normal delivery fees apply.

Commercial Deliveries: no inside deliveries. Pallets will be delivered to a loading dock or a designated external door. Normal delivery fees apply.

Firing Services: In an effort to meet customers' expectations as well as follow good safety measures, we ask that customers:

  • Please call for an appointment to arrange drop off of work to be fired. We want to limit the number of people in our stores as well as manage kiln capacity.
  • We will provide a no-contact cart for dropping off or picking up fired pieces.
  • We will call you when your firing is completed and ready for pick up.

We continue to monitor the situation and will act accordingly as time progresses. We will do our very best to continue to serve our customers safely as we know how important it is to have a creative escape, especially in times like these. We appreciates everyone's understanding and look forward to seeing you soon.
